Tender Mercies

Appril 26, 2010

Friday I discovered that by using the new IMOS system, I can copy and paste much of the information I have had to type in forms on an excell program. It will save a lot of time and frustration. The idea came like a "ah hah" moment.
Today we were informed that we are losing our office elders. (They came in about a day and a half per week.) I feel like the Lord was reassurig me that with his help, we will make it. The newsletter won't be as fancy, but I will probably learn to do a pretty good job afterall. Wish me luck on that one.

Cheri & Curt & Family came in Apri.

We had a wonderful time with Cheri, Curt, Hailey, Emily, & Hyrum Daniel.

We went to the beach and we saw the Nubble Lighthouse.

We rode the replica of an Old Victorian Carosel at the Mall of New Hampshire.

We went to the Jpseph Smith Birthplace Memorial in Sharon, VT on Sunday.

Deanna & Claine & Family Visit

What a great time we had visiting with Deanna, Claine and the kids. In spite of lost luggage, layovers, and some bad weather, we saw wonderful sights and had a great time together. Here are some of the photos.

Here Comes Deanna and the girls. Can you see them? Claine and the boys came later that night.

Here they are by the famous airport Moose.

Dad and I went to Zone Conference Thursday and Deanna and the boys went to Boston. Claine and the girls were checking on luggage and then we all joined up in Maine for dinner together at Salty Dog. It was a restaurant in what used to be an old mill. It had great ambiance, good food, and a balcony overlooking a small water fall.

We thought Claine's dinner looked the most ...interesting.

Friday we saw the most photographed Lighthouse in the Country, the Portland Head Lighthouse. It was so cold! On the bright side, we didn't have to deal with lots of
tourists trying to take photos!

Our Walk on Sunday
Britney, Lyndsie, and Grandma went for a walk on Sunday. Britney and Lyndsie climbed on a fallen tree which had blown down in the wind storm, and we enjoyed seeing some early signs of spring.
